Talking About The Main Factors Affecting The Vulcanization Process
1, curing temperature: If the temperature is 10 ℃, the curing time of the flat vulcanizing machine is about half shortened. Because the rubber is the bad heat conduction body, the vulcanization process of the product is different because of the temperature difference of each part. In order to ensure a relatively uniform degree of vulcanization, thick rubber products are generally used gradually heating, low-temperature vulcanization for a long time.
2, vulcanization time: This is an important part of the vulcanization process. The time is too short, the degree of vulcanization is insufficient (also known as sulfur). The time is too long, the degree of vulcanization is too high (commonly known as sulfur)
3, the dosage of sulphur: the larger the dosage, the faster the vulcanization rate, the higher the vulcanization degree of the flat-plate vulcanizer can be achieved. The solubility of sulphur in rubber is limited, and the excess sulfur will be precipitated by the surface of the rubber material, commonly known as "sulfur spraying". In order to reduce the sulfur emission, it is required that at the lowest possible temperature, the flat vulcanizing machine or at least sulfur in the melting point of sulphur. According to the requirements of the use of rubber products, sulfur in the soft rubber of the dosage is generally not more than 3%, in the semi-rigid gum used in general about 20%, In the hard glue vulcanization condition The dosage can be up to 40% above.
